Chris Van Vliet

Chris Van Vliet is a four-time Emmy Award-winning TV host, entertainment reporter, and digital content creator known for his engaging interviews and dynamic presence across multiple media platforms. Originally from Pickering, Ontario, Canada, he began his broadcasting career in 2005 after graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in Communication Studies. His early roles included hosting the MTV-2 show “969” in Vancouver and co-hosting “Inside Jam” on SUN TV in Toronto.

In 2010, Van Vliet moved to Cleveland, Ohio, to serve as the entertainment reporter for CBS affiliate WOIO and as a radio personality on WDOK. During his tenure in Cleveland, he was named Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Bachelor of the Year in 2011 and donated the $10,000 prize to The Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland. He also received the “Personality of the Year” honor from the Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2012.

In 2015, Van Vliet joined WSVN’s prime-time entertainment program “Deco Drive” in Miami as an entertainment reporter. He has reported from major events like the Oscars, Grammys, and the Cannes Film Festival. Currently based in Los Angeles, he continues to produce content that resonates with a global audience.

Van Vliet is also the host of the podcast and YouTube series “Insight with Chris Van Vliet,” where he conducts in-depth interviews with celebrities, athletes, and industry leaders.
