Ryan Albert Schlesinger, age 44, passed away on June 12, 2022, leaving a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him. Born on July 26, 1977, Ryan was a man of immense presence; someone who truly filled a room with his warmth, energy, and unforgettable laughter. To see Ryan laugh was to experience pure joy. He was a protective, brave, and deeply feeling soul who loved his family and friends fiercely.

A skilled brick mason by trade, Ryan took pride in building things that last. He also brought vibrant energy to the community as a music DJ, sharing his passion for rhythm and life with everyone around him.

Ryan was a proud child of Bellefaire JCB, a foundational part of his life that inspired a lifelong commitment to giving back. As an adult, he became one of the most dedicated and active members of the Bellefaire JCB/OJCH Alumni Association (the Butterfly Alumni), working tirelessly to support and uplift others who walked a similar path. His passion for service and community was further reflected in his leadership; Ryan served proudly as a member of the Board of Directors for the Workmen's Circle Educational Center of Ohio, maintaining his dedicated role until his passing.

Family was the cornerstone of Ryan’s world. He is survived by his beloved mother, Sharon Schlesinger (née Kirsch). He was preceded in death by his father, Fred M. Schlesinger.

Ryan’s legacy lives on through his cherished children: daughters Micayla Schlesinger and Madison Schlesinger, and son Daniel Hall. At the time of his passing, Ryan was also a doting and proud grandfather to several grandchildren, who brought immense light to his life. Ryan is also remembered with love alongside his ex-wife and the mother of his daughters, Krista L. Hale, who was living at the time of his passing and later reunited with him in peace on January 3, 2023.

Ryan's strength, loyalty, and undeniable spirit will never be forgotten. He protected those he loved, felt the world deeply, and left an indelible mark on his community.
