Fan Expo Cleveland Returns and Delivers a Weekend of Pop Culture Magic

CLEVELAND, OH - Fan Expo Cleveland is back and is currently dazzling fans at the Huntington Convention Center, where the worlds of sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming collide in a showcase of pop culture extravagance. With the event running through the weekend, attendees still have the chance to meet an impressive roster of celebrities and artists.

This year's lineup is particularly star-studded, featuring Elijah Wood and Sean Astin from "The Lord of the Rings," Danny Trejo of "Machete" fame, Rose McGowan from "Scream" and "Charmed," Matthew Lewis known for his role in "Harry Potter," Randy Quaid of "National Lampoon," and Jason Lee from "My Name Is Earl" and "The Incredibles."

Gremi from 'Cleve-It To Us' and Cleveland 13 News reporter Nikkie Brown, teamed up to cover the excitement of this annual event. They enjoyed memorable interactions with notable guests including Adam McArthur, renowned for voicing characters in "Star vs. the Forces of Evil" and "Jujutsu Kaisen." Kathleen Herles, the original voice of Dora in "Dora the Explorer," also shared insights with them about her role in the new 'Dora' series on Paramount+, where she voices Dora's mom.

A light-hearted moment unfolded when Nikkie, recalling her favorite character portrayal by Ethan Suplee as the lovable bully in "Boy Meets World," spontaneously dashed across the convention center. Her enthusiasm led to a comical hijacking of Gremi's interview with Suplee, known for his roles in "American History X," "Remember the Titans," and "My Name Is Earl."

Fan Expo Cleveland isn't just about rubbing shoulders with celebrities. The event features a variety of attractions including guest panels, autograph signings, photo opportunities, sketch duels, workshops, and extensive shopping opportunities. It's a family-friendly event that caters to all ages and interests.

Organized by FAN EXPO HQ, the largest comic con producer globally, this expo is part of a series that collectively draws over a million fans each year to events across North America.

The convention continues today from 10 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM. Whether it’s securing an autograph from a favorite actor, engaging in panel discussions, or simply soaking in the creative atmosphere, FAN EXPO Cleveland promises an unforgettable experience for all.
