Nate Bargatze Crushes Rocket Arena Record With Over 29,000 Tickets Sold Across Two Shows

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Comedian Nate Bargatze has set a new record at Rocket Arena for the most tickets sold by a comedian over two performances, with more than 29,000 tickets purchased for his October 3 and 4 shows.

“We take great pride at Rocket Arena in making sure every fan and performer leaves with unforgettable memories and the very best experience; whether at a sporting event, comedy show, concert or family event,” said Brooke Lowery, Senior Vice President of Booking and Events for Rocket Arena. “The growing enthusiasm in our community for comedy has been remarkable. To celebrate another record-setting moment is truly a testament to the dedication of our entire team and the quality of performance we continue to deliver.”

The previous two-show ticket sales record at the downtown Cleveland venue was set in 2015 by Kevin Hart. Bargatze’s achievement comes just months after comedian Shane Gillis set the single-night comedy attendance record at Rocket Arena in April 2025, with over 19,000 tickets sold.

Bargatze, currently headlining his 2025 Big Dumb Eyes World Tour, has become one of the most sought-after live entertainers in the world. With over 1.2 million tickets sold in 2024 alone, he is ranked the top-earning comedian globally, according to Pollstar. In addition, Billboard reported he achieved the largest one-year gross ever recorded by a comedy performer.

Known for his clean, observational style, Bargatze continues to reach new milestones. He recently published a #1 New York Times bestselling book, "Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind," and hosted the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, which posted the highest ratings for the show in four years. His Netflix and Amazon Prime specials consistently top streaming charts, with "Your Friend, Nate Bargatze" becoming the most-watched standup special on Netflix in the past year.

Bargatze’s appearances at Rocket Arena contribute to the venue’s growing reputation as a major destination for top-tier live comedy. Hosting more than 175 ticketed events annually, Rocket Arena draws nearly 1.5 million visitors each year to downtown Cleveland, bolstering both its cultural and economic footprint.
