PUT-IN-BAY, Ohio — A popular, larger-than-life attraction is returning to Put-in-Bay this summer. The World's Largest Rubber Duck is scheduled to visit the island for a three-day event from July 10 to 12. The massive inflatable duck, known as Mama Duck, stands 61 feet tall and will be accompanied by her two smaller ducklings. The display offers a unique photo opportunity for visitors of all ages. The free event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at the corner of Langram and Meechen roads, located across from the Put-in-Bay Airport. In addition to viewing the giant duck, attendees can enjoy family-friendly activities and purchase duck-themed souvenirs. Among the items available will be a special America 250 "Don't Give Up the Ship" commemorative duck. The appearance of the famous waterfowl also serves as the official kickoff for the countdown to Declaration 250, a separate event scheduled to take place on Put-in-Bay from July 31 to Aug. 2. -------------------- At Cleveland 13 News, we strive to provide accurate, up-to-date, and reliable reporting.
