Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum to Feature Vintage Trains and Baseball at Fall Festival

SUGARCREEK, OHIO — The Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum is preparing to host its annual Fall Steam Festival, titled Trains, Tractors & Traditions, during the final weekend of September 2026. Located in the heart of what is known as Ohio's Little Switzerland, the museum occupies a 34-acre site featuring a reconstructed 18-stall brick roundhouse that serves as a working restoration facility for the world's largest private collection of steam locomotives. The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Sept. 25 and 26. While admission to the museum grounds is free for the festival, specific activities and tours require a fee. Visitors can pay $6 for rides on full-size steam locomotives or $2 for a trip on the 1.6-inch-scale steam engines. For those looking for a bit of physical activity, vintage self-propelled handcar rides are available for $5.
