The survey aimed to identify the most popular attractions in the city and provide quantitative insights into residents' preferences.

Methodology: A comprehensive survey was conducted, collecting data from 2,088 participants representing diverse demographics and geographic locations within Cleveland. Participants were asked to vote for their favorite institutions from a list of options. The data collected was analyzed to determine the rankings based on the percentage of votes received by each institution.

Results: The poll results revealed the following rankings for Cleveland's favorite institutions:

  1. West Side Market: 22% of the vote

  2. Cleveland Museum of Art: 20% of the vote

  3. Cleveland Metropark System: 13% of the vote

  4. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame: 12% of the vote

  5. Little Italy: 10% of the vote

  6. Lakeview Cemetery: 9% of the vote

  7. Playhouse Square: 8% of the vote

  8. Cleveland Cultural Gardens: 4% of the vote

Honorable Mentions: Apart from the top-ranked institutions, approximately 2% of the vote was allocated to various 'other' Cleveland destinations (as also represented in both charts above), including the Arcade, East 4th Street, Christmas Story House, Public Square, The Hope Memorial Bridge (Guardian Bridge), and the Natural History Museum.

Conclusion: The poll results provide valuable insights into the preferences of Cleveland residents regarding their favorite institutions. The West Side Market emerged as the clear favorite, highlighting its significance as a vibrant culinary and cultural landmark. The Cleveland Museum of Art and the Cleveland Metropark System also garnered substantial support, showcasing the community's appreciation for art and nature.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Little Italy, Lakeview Cemetery, Playhouse Square, and the Cleveland Cultural Gardens each received notable recognition, reflecting their contributions to Cleveland's cultural fabric. The honorable mentions signify the diverse range of attractions that captivate residents and visitors alike.

This polling data can serve as a useful reference for stakeholders, tourism authorities, and cultural organizations interested in understanding and promoting Cleveland's most beloved institutions. Further analysis of the data, including demographic breakdowns and visitor satisfaction, could provide deeper insights into the preferences and motivations of Cleveland residents.
