Angry Customer Attacks Penn Station Staff with Chemical Agent in South Euclid, Police Say

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — South Euclid Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault investigation stemming from an incident that occurred on Oct. 8, 2025. The incident took place at the Penn Station East Coast Subs located at 1840 Warrensville Center Road.
According to investigators, the individual entered the restaurant and placed a food order but quickly became irate over the service. The situation escalated when the person began shouting at employees and then discharged a chemical agent, believed to be pepper spray, at or near staff members on multiple occasions.
Surveillance images of the suspect have been released. Authorities are urging anyone who can identify the individual or who may have additional information related to the incident to contact Detective Lieutenant Parisi at 216-691-4253.
