Frequencies Supper Club Blends Food, Music, and Storytelling in New Cleveland Dining Experience

Published: May 13, 2026 - 4:23 p.m.

CLEVELAND, OH — Chef Antonia Eddie is reimagining the traditional Cleveland dinner reservation with the launch of Frequencies Supper Club, an immersive project that strips away the standard restaurant experience and replaces it with sensory-driven storytelling. Operating under the banner of Culinary Expressions Catering, the new venture aims to bridge the gap between fine dining and performance art. It is a move that prioritizes human connection in a city where the culinary scene is increasingly leaning toward experiential and pop-up models. Eddie's vision for Frequencies focuses on more than just the plate. Each event is designed around a specific theme in which the menu, the playlist and the physical decor are meticulously synchronized to evoke a particular emotional response. According to Eddie, the project was born from a desire to create meaningful spaces where food and music intersect to foster community and nostalgia. She said every detail, from the way the table is set to the specific tracks selected for the evening, is entirely intentional. The club recently completed its debut season, titled In Bloom, which used garden-style tablescapes and spring menus to explore themes of renewal. The project is now moving into its summer installment, Heatwave. The upcoming series promises a different atmosphere altogether, leaning into sultry aesthetics, bold flavor profiles, and a focus on movement and warmth meant to capture the intensity of July and August nights in Northeast Ohio. The Frequencies model relies heavily on communal seating to encourage dialogue among guests who might otherwise never meet. Each installment features multicourse menus curated by Eddie herself, often paired with live musical elements or curated soundtracks that dictate the pace of the meal. Beyond the food, the club serves as a platform for local collaboration. Eddie intentionally seeks out Cleveland-based photographers, musicians and brands to participate in the production, ensuring the project supports the city's broader creative ecosystem. As the Heatwave series approaches, Frequencies is expanding its reach by scouting unique local venues and partnering with creative marketers to document the evolution of the brand. The strategy allows the supper club to remain mobile and unpredictable, moving between different neighborhoods to keep the experience fresh for returning patrons. Tickets for the upcoming Heatwave installment are released in limited batches to maintain the intimacy of the communal table. Information on event dates, locations, and future collaborations is available through the Culinary Expressions Catering website or via the project's social media presence at @frequenciessupperclub. -------------------- At Cleveland 13 News, we strive to provide accurate, up-to-date, and reliable reporting.
