BATH, Ohio — Hale Farm & Village will host a unique Thanksgiving event on November 16, bringing history to life with a festive dinner featuring “President Abraham Lincoln” and other historical interpreters. From 3 to 6 p.m., visitors can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal while engaging with costumed interpreters who share stories from America’s past, creating an immersive holiday experience.

Attendees will be served a classic menu including turkey breast with gravy, traditional stuffing, mashed potatoes, a seasonal vegetable, a mixed green salad, and dessert. Wine and beer will be available for purchase to complement the meal. The event promises entertainment for all ages, with live music reflecting the spirit of the season and activities for children throughout the afternoon. The MarketPlace at Hale Farm & Village will also be open, offering an opportunity for visitors to shop for unique holiday gifts.

Tickets are priced at $50 for the general public, $45 for Western Reserve Historical Society (WRHS) members, and $20 for youth ages 3 to 12. Children under two can attend for free but require a ticket. Spaces are limited, so advance ticket purchases are encouraged.

Hale Farm & Village, operated by the WRHS, is known for its commitment to showcasing the lives and cultures of people from the late 18th and 19th centuries in Ohio’s Western Reserve region. WRHS emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion in its work and engages visitors in the region’s rich history through events like this Thanksgiving gathering.

In preparation for the United States’ semiquincentennial in 2026, WRHS has partnered with the Ohio Commission for the Semiquincentennial, also known as the America 250-Ohio Commission, which aims to honor Ohio’s contributions to the nation’s history. As part of this initiative, WRHS continues to celebrate and amplify the diverse experiences of past and present Ohioans.
