(WCTU) — From the theatrical release of a hometown film to a brand-new high-tech golf spot and touching Veterans Day tributes, these are the stories that got people clicking this week.

Cleveland Lights Up for Lost & Found in Cleveland

We’ve talked about it before, but this weekend, Lost & Found in Cleveland hit the big screen across the country; and Cleveland couldn’t be prouder. The film, created by Marisa Guterman and Keith Gerchak, is rooted deeply in Cleveland’s culture, using real locations like Playhouse Square and the West Side Market to tell the interconnected stories of five strangers. The Terminal Tower lit up to celebrate opening weekend, and our own Cleveland 13 reporter Kayla Royko makes a special on-screen appearance. With Dennis Haysbert, June Squibb, and Stacy Keach in standout roles, the movie is already being called an instant classic. See the full story here.

Shaker Heights Welcomes Five Iron Golf

Shaker Heights just got a whole lot more entertaining with the opening of Five Iron Golf in the Van Aken District. Cleveland 13’s Jayda stopped by to explore the 17,000-square-foot space featuring TrackMan-powered golf simulators, duckpin bowling, a full-service restaurant, and some mouth-watering wing deals. From serious golfers to casual party-goers, this spot is already becoming a local favorite. See the full story here.

Veterans Day Tributes Across Northeast Ohio

Communities across the region honored Veterans Day with heartfelt gestures and moving displays. Schools in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District held assemblies and encouraged students to write thank-you letters to veterans. Meijer stores featured “Missing Man Tables,” a powerful tribute to prisoners of war and those missing in action. And public ceremonies, including one at the Greater Cleveland Veterans Memorial, brought people together to reflect and show their gratitude. See the full story here.
