CLEVELAND, Ohio — For more than a decade, Belinda Minor has been a familiar voice of resilience in Northeast Ohio, though her work has often happened away from the microphones. As the founder of the Shirellda Helen Terry Foundation, Minor has spent years turning personal tragedy into a resource for the Cleveland community. Now, that mission is moving to the digital airwaves through a new daily inspirational feature titled Still Standing with Belinda Minor.
The program airs three times each weekday on FCB Faith, a Christian Pop station found locally on 107.3 HD2 and streaming via iHeartRadio. Minor’s transition to radio broadcaster follows years of community outreach and ministry, much of which was born out of the 2013 murder of her 18-year-old daughter, Shirellda Terry. While that loss became a national news story centered in East Cleveland, Minor used the aftermath to establish a foundation that invests in local families and children.
The new radio feature isn't restricted to the topic of grief. According to Minor, the segments address a wide range of personal hardships, including divorce, childhood dysfunction, and sexual assault. She describes the program as a living testament rather than just a broadcast, intended to show listeners that survival is possible even after the most difficult circumstances. Each episode is designed to fit into the busy schedules of listeners, offering brief, scripture-based encouragement during morning and afternoon commutes.
Darvio Morrow, the Founder and CEO of First Class Broadcasting, noted that Minor’s ability to transform unimaginable pain into a functional ministry is what made her a fit for the station's lineup. He said the company is honored to provide a platform for a message that has already had a measurable impact on the ground in Cleveland. The station, which identifies as Cleveland’s Christian Pop outlet, focuses on authentic voices that connect faith with the realities of modern life.
Listeners can find Still Standing with Belinda Minor at 7:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Outside of the traditional radio broadcast on 107.3 HD2, the segments are distributed as podcasts through the FCB Faith Podcast Network on platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify. The Shirellda Helen Terry Foundation continues its work alongside the broadcast, maintaining its commitment to youth advocacy and community service in the Greater Cleveland area.
Episodes are also available on the Audacy app and through the official FCB Faith website.
