Six Flags Offers Free Season Passes for Preschoolers at Cedar Point and Other Parks

Published: Apr 22, 2026 - 9:04 p.m.

SANDUSKY, Ohio — Six Flags Entertainment Corp. has launched a new, limited-time program offering free season passes to children ages 3 to 5 at 22 of its parks, including Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores. The new Pre-K Pass provides eligible children with unlimited admission for the entire 2026 season. To receive the pass, families must register online between April 22 and May 31. "At a time when families are watching their budgets very closely, the Pre-K Pass provides real value while helping create a season full of fun experiences kids and parents will remember for years," said Christian Dieckmann, chief commercial officer for Six Flags, in a statement. To participate in the program, a parent or guardian must first have a valid 2026 Silver, Gold or Prestige season pass or membership. They can then register their child for the Pre-K Pass online. The final step is to activate the pass at the park entrance by May 31, which requires the child to be present, along with a valid birth certificate or passport for age verification. A limit of two Pre-K passes are available per valid adult pass or membership. The offer does not include benefits such as parking and is not valid for separately ticketed events. Children 2 and younger already receive free admission and do not require a pass. In addition to Cedar Point, other participating locations include Canada's Wonderland, Carowinds, Dorney Park and Six Flags Great America. A full list of participating and nonparticipating parks is available on the company's website. Families are encouraged to register early, as the offer is only available through May 31. More information can be found on the Six Flags website. -------------------- At Cleveland 13 News, we strive to provide accurate, up-to-date, and reliable reporting.
